A wooden storage container comes to your door and is loaded right there, then lifted on and off by forklift — less handling, less risk. Everything is wrapped in blankets before it travels.
Kept inside our facility
Sealed, alarmed and monitored inside our Newbury storage facility, and insured for £5,000 a container, until you ring for it back.

What size is a storage container, and how much fits in one?
Each is a wooden storage container holding 250 cubic feet — picture twelve washing machines, stacked six on six. They are kept inside our Newbury facility, not out in a yard. Not sure how many you'll need? We work it out at the free visit, so you only pay for the space you use.

How much does storage in Newbury cost?
£18 per container, per week, including VAT. Collection and delivery are priced separately, depending on the volume, the access and the distance. It all goes in a written quote after a free visit. There is no minimum term.

How is this different from self storage, and do I need it?
With self storage you rent a unit and visit it yourself. With us, your things are packed into a sealed storage container and kept inside our facility. We handle the lifting and the moving. If you need to pop in often, a self-storage unit may suit you better. If you just need things kept safe between moves or while you free up space, ours is simpler, and there's nothing to drive to.

Can I get to my things while they're in store?
Yes — by appointment. Ring a day or two ahead and we will have your container down and ready when you arrive. Access is £30 a visit, including VAT.

Are my things insured and looked after?
Contents are insured for £5,000 per container. We wrap everything in blankets and protective covers while it is in store, at no extra cost. The facility is alarmed, monitored and sealed. We can inventory your container as a paid extra, since listing it properly takes time.

How long can I store, and how do I get it back?
A week, a month, a year. There is no minimum term and no fixed end date. When you want it back, give us as much notice as you can: a few days is usually enough for us to book the lorry and bring it back the way it went in, wherever you have landed.

Can you store a car, or anything unusual?
We don't store vehicles at the moment, but we take most other household and office things. If you're not sure about something, ring the depot and ask. Chances are we have stored one before.

Across West Berkshire: Newbury, Thatcham, Hungerford and the villages around. Same lorry and same team that runs our removals.
